Mitzi Dorton (she/her) is author of the book, Chief Corn Tassel, Finishing Line Press, Literary Global Book Award finalist in history and biography. A multi-genre writer, she has poetry in Rattle, Shadowplay, Constellations, Appalachian Places, Poetry South, and is a finalist with both the Wilda Morris Poetry Challenge/Peace Poems, and the Golden Ox Micro-Prose Contest. She is a part of two award-winning publications, Rise, Northern Colorado Writers, Colorado Book Award in anthology and G. I. Days, Milltown Press, New Generation Indie Book Award finalist.
